Developing Clubs

The development of our Clubs is one of the major initiatives identified in our Strategic Plan for 2006-2009. These strategies include assistance to:

  • Form Committees and become incorporated.
  • Obtain funding and sponsorship.
  • Establish home grounds.
  • Obtain accredited Coaches and Referees.

The Government of South Australia offers many grants to help with the running of sports clubs. The Office for Recreation and Sport offers the Active Club Program twice a year, and this program has been vital for the development of State League clubs, by making funds available for the purchase of uniforms and sports equipment. More information on the Active Club Program can be found on the Office of Recreations and Sport's website.

Any teams or Clubs requiring any assistance should contact the GFHASA on info@gaelicfootballsa.com.au
